Magical Moments in the Barn

I’m a little behind in blogging.  I’ve been a bit under the weather lately, and no, I haven’t kissed any pigs.  I took these pictures during the last heavy snow we had.  Our gate was open and our neighbor’s cows huddled for shelter with our horses.  The little white calf was just a few days old.

When did the donkey come to live with you? I see some collecting behaviors going on here! LOL. Hope you are feeling much better.

She’s our neighbor’s donkey. She was purchased as livestock protection and she was cold too! She just came with the cows to eat our horses hay. It was as if our girls invited them over. I felt like a mother coming home to teenagers throwing party when I went out to the barn that night!

I must say I rather enjoy collecting barn animals. I’d have more if I could afford the hay!
