Be careful what you wish for! It has been so dry, we have wished over and over again for rain or snow. Looks like we got what we wished for. Now the digging out begins.

This is just wrong. We were less than a month into autumn when we had a wee little storm blow through. This is what it looked like this morning, two days later, after it had a chance to melt a little.

- This is what season?

It’s late this year, but boy was it pretty! I went out to break the ice on Jazzmin’s water trough and to feed her this morning and it was unbelievably peaceful. The silence was broken occasionally by Jazzmin’s BF calling to her. It was kinda cute. She grabbed a bite of hay and then went trotting out to see him, head and tail up. It looks like she would rather rummage through the snow for food than eat hay in the stall.
